**** “Credit must go to director James Kermack who has managed to create a powerful, if grim, evening of theatre.” What’s On Stage

Joe is regular teenager on a night out in North London, when he and his beautiful girlfriend Kelly can’t afford to get in the local nightclub that could have been the end of their night.

Sadly for all concerned that’s not the case and following an altercation with local gangster Stud a night of violence ensues. Local pool club owner Man tries to help Joe and possibly grab an opportunity for himself.

A darkly poetic piece largely made up of intertwining monologues, Manor places a combination of religious imagery & greek mythology in an urban London setting.

Manor was developed by the Liverpool Everyman Theatre’s Young Writers Programme & the Liverpool Unity Theatre with funding from Arts Council England.

Bruised Sky’s production of the play was directed by James Kermack & began life at Soho Theatre in December 2009 before a run at Tristan Bates Theatre Covent Garden the following year. The cast included Stephen Pucci, Elspeth Rae, James Kermack, Freddie Machin & Barra Collins.
